This is the whole of the eastern libration zone taken when the libration was particularly favourable for the east-north-east (7° 22' in longitude and 2° 56' in latitude, indicated by the large arrow).  It is a mosaic of 17 images made when the Moon was 6.6 days old.  The picture here has been reduced to 25% of the size of the original.  Mare Humboldtianum and Mare Marginis are particularly well displayed.
