As a birthday present, our daughter gave my wife, Valerie, the Eagle and Red Kite Experience at the Birds of Prey Centre in Bedfordshire. The Experience involves handling and flying Eagles and Red Kites. A friend is allowed to go along too and take photographs. I was that friend and these are Valerie's choice of the best pictures. Photographing the event was more difficult than I thought it would be. These pictures were taken on 22nd August 2012.
