The Moon at 25.2 days Day:  25.2
Date & Time:  9th January 2021, 05:37 UT
Libration:  latitude -1° 51', longitude 0° 37'
Lunar Phase:  232.6°
Colongitude:  217.4°
Telescope: 8-inch Ritchey-Chrétien
Camera: Canon 1100D DSLR
Capture:  50 frames, 1/30 TO 1/160 sec, ISO 400
Processing*:  Irfanview. Convert .CR2 files to bmp format.
   Linearised by my own software
   Registax. 50 frames stacked. Wavelets 1-3 = 10,
   Focus Magic 7

* I have changed the way I process these images.  I discovered that the response of my DSLR camera is not linear and here I have corrected for that non-linearity.  I can only load bit-map images into my software, hence the use of Irfanview, which can load the raw-data files written by the camera, to convert these to .bmp format prior to linearisation.  My software also stretches the histogram so that, with care, the resulting images look almost identical.  I had taken 5 different exposures, 10 images for each, and, after linearisation, these all looked very similar.  I therefore stacked all 50 in Registax before enhancing with wavelets and sharpening with Focus Magic.
