These are the two pictures I omitted from the previous page.

Compared to the original, here the camera has been rotated 90° anti-clockwise seen from behind the camera, and the picture rotated back in software.

It is evident that the coma spreads northwards more than southwards, indicating the problem is directed more north-west than I realised.
Compared to the original, here the camera has been rotated 90° clockwise seen from behind the camera, and the picture rotated back in software.

Essentially the same as the picture above, so the 180° rotation of the camera has had no obvious effect.
