A Partial Eclipse of the Sun on 29th March 2006 Home

On 29th March there was a total eclipse of the Sun visible along a track that started on the east coast of Brazil and extended across the Atlantic Ocean, passed through Nigeria, Niger, Libya, Turkey, Georgia, and Kazakhstan, before finishing in the northern tip of Mongolia.  Only a relatively small partial eclipse was visible from the UK and I was lucky enough to catch a shot between the clouds close to maximum phase.
