The whole Sun. Move the mouse over the image to see the designations. This time I've captured 10801.
This picture was taken through high cloud and the stacking has, unfortunately, not removed the shadows completely.
Date and Time: 23rd August 2005 07:52 UT
Camera: ToUcam 740K
Telescope: 270 mm SLR
Capture: K3CCDTools. Low gamma, B/W, 1/100", 11% gain, 338 frames
Processing: Registax. 222 frames stacked. Wavelets 1-2 = 10, contrast 185
Spot number 10798 is about to disappear and makes a pretty picture as it nears the Sun's eastern limb.
The processing I have used in Registax is unusual for me; I tried it out as an experiment and
selected this image as my best without realising it was the unusual one.

Processing: Registax. 165 frames stacked. Wavelets 1 = 60, 2 = 5, histogram 0-215
Last time I could image the Sun (two days ago), spot 10800 was a very weak affair. But
now it has developed into a nice formation.
