Various Lenses Home

These are the few special lenses that I use.
A. A Hanimex 135-mm f/3.5 SLR lens.
B. A Zenit 58-mm f/2 SLR lens.
C. An APS Teleplus X2 lens, designed to be used with SLR cameras.
D. A William Optics DCL 4337 eyepiece.  This is a 40-mm eyepiece specifically designed for afocal projection using a camera from which the lens cannot be removed.  For more details of this arrangement and afocal photography generally, click here.
E. This is the adaptor that enables me to attach my Olympus digital camera to the William Optics eyepiece.  It comes from Olympus.

The two SLR lenses and the Teleplus are very old and date back to my early photographic days.  I use the Teleplus (I usualy refer to this as a "teleadaptor lens") exclusively in place of a barlow. I wonder if it is actually a better lens than a barlow; it is certainly more convenient for me as I have standardised on M42 threads on my cameras (so that I could use these lenses).
