This beautiful camp site is situated between the town of Livingstone and Victoria Falls. Small swimming pool, bar and restaurant, but no camp shop. It is bordered on one side by the Maramba river - a tributary of the Zambesi, and this quiet backwater was home to a family of Hippo which added to the dawn chorus every morning!
There were numerous activities on offer, and the first I took part in was an evening cruise on the Zambezi River, with beautiful views and sightings of wildlife. The birds shown here are bee eaters.
The following morning I went out early for a helicopter ride over the Falls - a marvellous experience with superb views. Microlite flights were also possible, but not carrying a camera, for safety reasons.
Once back on terra firma I had another look from ground level - and got very wet in the process! The bungee jumpers had to be retrieved by an abseiler. The rainbow (spraybow?) was a full circle. Wildlife here, despite the many visitors.
