This program gives limited control over the Olympus 2100 UZ Digital Camera, triggering the camera with the Shutter speed, f-ratio and ISO settings set by computer via the cable connection of the camera. The focussing of the camera is set as usual, either Auto or Manual as required. NOTE that optical zoom settings are retained, but any digital zoom setting is lost when the program is closed or the camera is disconnected from the computer. This cannot be avoided. It should also control the following cameras in the Olympus range (but they have not been tested): D-360L Operation with other cameras is not guaranteed. Also certain values in the range of settings D-490 Zoom may not be compatible. You should experiment with your own particular camera to determine D-460 Zoom the features available. ALWAYS do a 'dummy run' before an important sequence! C-211 Zoom C-3030 Zoom C-3000 Zoom The time delay operates between multiple exposures, and before a single exposure, but you should allow for individual camera delays in addition. When setting exposures, remember that the camera will be continually powered from its own supply while connected to the computer - ensure your batteries are in good condition if running a long sequence. But you can set the values with the camera disconnected. The program takes photographs automatically, with the preset values. Single shots, repeated shots with the same setting, or multiple shots with different settings (up to 500) can be entered. Although the program shows the amount of shots left, there is no check on your settings, so be careful not to exceed the available camera memory. You can save and load settings using normal file handling procedures. You have to enter the appropriate values in the data grid, using the drop down combo boxes. Click on the required line in the grid, then the values will be transferred automatically as you select them. You must check that the grid is complete and camera connected using the 'Proceed' button before moving on to take the photographs, if all is in order then the Start button will be displayed . The 'Rapid' button is used to take repeated shots at the maximum speed of the camera. It is limited by the buffer size, and takes pictures at 640 x 480 SQ resolution only. You can let the camera choose its own settings, or use those set in grid line 1. Because there are checks on the camera condition for this option, the settings can only be altered in the 'ready to proceed' mode, when the 'Start' button and rapid options are available. Note that the camera must be set at 'P' for 'Rapid' exposure. This probably only works for the 2100UZ, 3000 and 3030. **NOTE** The Menu item 'Bypass' is available to save time when following a pre programmed sequence with a 'Rapid' sequence. More details are available in the Bypass sub menu 'Read Me'.
