Badger

These pictures were taken from a hide in the very-late evening.  Lighting was artificial.

                     

                       

A Chaffinch was the only other wildlife I photographed during the time we had there.  Of course there is little darkness in that part of the world at that time of year, but we were reassured by the guides that this did not reduce our chances of seeing night-time creatures.  We were there from about an hour before until an hour and a half after sunset. The badger appeared after over 2 hours and when he left so did we.  The picture below was taken 10 minutes after local sunset.
