This is a mosaic of three pictures covering the area between Schickard in the north and
Blancanus in the south. For more details, see the individual pictures.
Clavius and Longomontanus are the
subjects of larger-scale pictures.
The two sets of scale markers, each showing 100 Km north and east, correspond to the top and
the bottom of the image.
The picture was taken with a ToUcam attached to my LX200 on 25th October 2004,
when the Moon was 12.6 days old.
