This is a mosaic of three pictures taken about 37 hours before third quarter.  It covers an area of the southern highlands from Blanchinus, to the south pole.
The scale markers are approximately 100 Km north and west and apply at Stöfler.
The picture was taken with a DMK camera attached to my LX200 on 31st August 2010 at 04:47 UT, when the Moon was 20.7 days old.
