So far this season, my images of Mars have lacked any information in blue light. If I look at the blue image it is black. I know Mars is "The Red Planet" but there should be some blue light coming from it if only from the polar cap. So this time I adjusted the colour sliders in the camera's set-up menu to see what difference that would make. Below are six results along with the picture of the colour sliders captured by QCamLog. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that they have all been processed identically, so look at the colours rather than the quality of the image.

These are the settings of the sliders as I have used them before. To be honest I'm not sure how I arrived at these settings but I think I did it by pointing at a white cloud during the daytime and letting Auto do its work. |
