NGC6939  An Open ClusterHome

NGC6939, in the constellation of Cepheus, subtends 8 arc-minutes and has a visual magnitude of 7.8.  It is around 1600 million years old and about 4100 light years away.  It contains about 80 stars of which the brightest is 12th magnitude.
