NGC146, NGC133, King14  Open ClustersHome

Three open clusters in the same field in the constellation of Cassiopeia.  Each is about 7 arc-minutes in diameter and they form a triangle about 11 arc-minutes on each side.

NGC 146 is at the upper left, NGC 133 is at the upper right, and King 14 is at the bottom centre.  (This picture is about 35 by 26 arc-minutes.)  Their ages (in millions of years) and distances (in light years) are estimated to be
 Object  Age   Dist.
 NGC 146 11,300
 NGC 133 50 6,200
 King 14 16 8,000
