This picture was taken using a monochrome, raw-modified camera with no filters whatsoever. It lacks colour, but shows more detail than I have captured before.
If you cannot see the darker parts of the nebula in the top-righthand and bottom-lefthand corners, then move your mouse over the image to see one with the gamma increased to 1.5.
